A Message from the Principal

Excellent Wisdom for an Evolving World


Excellent Wisdom is in our name for a reason.


When our school was named Excellent Wisdom Christian Academy, we were drawn to the testimony of Daniel and his companions. Scripture tells us that God gave them “knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom” (Daniel 1:17), and when they were examined, they were found “ten times better” than the others around them (Daniel 1:20). Later, Daniel was distinguished because “an excellent spirit was in him” (Daniel 6:3).


That remains our aspiration for every EWCA student.


We do not pursue excellence merely to be better than others. We pursue excellent wisdom so that our students may understand God’s truth, develop the abilities entrusted to them, serve people well, and remain useful in whatever world God calls them to enter.


And that world is changing rapidly.


Our young people are growing up after a global pandemic and during the extraordinary rise of artificial intelligence. Careers will change. Technology will change. The skills demanded of them will change. Yet their need for wisdom, character, discernment, discipline, adaptability, and faith in God will remain.


This website was therefore created to help every EWCA student in the School of Tomorrow system ask important questions: Who am I? What are my strengths? Where must I improve? How do I manage my time, money, health, relationships, talents, and opportunities? What do I believe? What can I contribute? And what kind of person is God preparing me to become?


Our goal is not to produce students who simply survive change. We desire young people who can learn, adapt, create, lead, serve, and excel without surrendering their biblical foundations.


Daniel lived in a changing world, learned within a foreign system, served at the highest levels of society, and yet remained faithful to God. That is a powerful picture of what we desire for our students: competent enough to engage the world, wise enough to understand it, courageous enough to stand when necessary, and faithful enough to glorify God through it all.
