A proud product of the School of Tomorrow® system, Frank Mercado embodies its vision of raising citizen-leaders.

He graduated valedictorian in elementary, passed the UP Diliman entrance exam at 14, graduated at 17, and was recognized as a finalist for Most Outstanding Student Leader in the university. At just 19 years old, he earned a scholarship to pursue his Master’s degree in International Policy and Economics at the National University of Singapore. Around the same time, he also became the youngest director of a British-listed company based in Singapore. After graduation, he flourished in his career in project origination for new markets and the oil and gas industry, while continually returning to the Philippines to help build and strengthen EWCA.

Today, he serves full-time as Principal, while also teaching Technology and Computing for Industry and Physical Education at EWCA. By sharing the innovations and insights he gained abroad, he aims to drive first-world education in the Philippines—all while pursuing his third degree in Civil Engineering at FEU Alabang.
